Pili Montilla is unique, fun, strong and curious to explore more about people. Without a doubt her personality goes hand in hand with her interviewing skills and power to entertain in front of a live audience. These assets have earned Pili the opportunity to interview some of the most important celebrities in the world including Sandra Bullock, Ricky Martin, Gwen Stefani, Daddy Yankee, Calle 13, Sofía Vergara and Shakira among others.
For over two years Pili hosted LATV's entertainment shows: "En la Zona" and "En Concierto" where she interviewed invited artists live. Her broad experience has led her to cover junkets for major motion pictures and the most important award shows and events such as the Latin Grammys, Festival de la Calle 8 (Miami), Premios Billboard de la Música Latina and the Latin Alternative Music Conference.
As an actress Pili has participated in several novelas, including "Don Amor" for Chile's Canal 13, "Dueña y Señora" for Telemundo and Venevision, and in Telemundo‘s "Decisiones".
Releasing in 2012, Pili will be seen in the highly anticipated comedy film "200 Cartas" alongside Jaime Camil, Dayanara Torres and Lin Manuel Miranda, as co-star in the thriller "Desconocidos" with Sonya Smith and Gabriel Porras, and as part of the second season of the webisode "Ilegal" where she plays 'Piedad' an imprisoned illegal Colombian immigrant.
Her fame has extended to Honduras where she is the spokesperson for SAB Miller's beer, Barena. Her popularity there has garnered her to work for E! Latino‘s show “It's Hot!” and earned her an invitation to host their "Teletón" with Mexican comedian, Adal Ramones, making her the first Puerto Rican to be asked by the country of Honduras to host such an important event.
Pili’s poise in front of the camera has also led to various hosting gigs for different brands such as Fashion’s Night Out, Chrysler, 5 Gum, AXE, Sunsilk, Burger King and Fiji Water, among others. Additionally she hosted all of Heineken's social media efforts at the 2011 Latin Grammy's.
As if all this wasn't enough, this relentless ex MTV Puerto Rico VJ, has also made a name for herself as a respected writer. Her column "Pili desde Hollywood" is published weekly on "Publimetro" in Monterrey and Mexico City and on yasta.pr. Furthermore, every Wednesday Pili publishes her blog ‘Pili’s Pick’ on her website: www.pilimontilla.com.
In addition, Pili's concern for society and the youth has made her spokesperson for the Puerto Rico Children’s Hospital, National Heart Day, John Dewey College Campaign coaching high school kids to pursue a college degree and the "Si Bebes, No Guies" campaign promoting young men and women not to drink and drive.
Currently Pili is the official blogger and social media host for Pepsi and their 'Mi Pepsi Toma la Fama' campaign as well as the entertainment correspondent for UNIVISION’s highest rated show, ‘Primer Impacto.’ She is fully bilingual in both Spanish and English and resides in Los Angeles, CA.
